Gun powder (Pappula podi)
Gun powder is an absolute favourite in the Telugu states. It blends well in chaarus and rasams and is used as an additional flavour in fries and curries. It can also be consumed with hot rice and a little bit of oil directly. Gun powder mixed with oil is a super yummy chutney for idlies and dosas.

Capsicum Gun Powder Fry
Preparation:
Cut 2 medium sized capsicums into small pieces. Add them to a frying pan and add some salt to it. Let the capsicum fry completely. Then add 2 full spoons of Little Tummy Full gunpowder, a quarter spoon of cumin powder, quarter spoon of red chilli powder, half a spoon of oil so that all these mix well. Stir properly and fry for 4-5 more minutes. This can be served with rice or roti for a quick and easy dish.
